This evening at 8:10 p.m. local time, air traffic at Vilnius Airport was temporarily suspended, the airport’s press service reported.

According to preliminary information, the decision to restrict the airspace was made due to a balloon (or several balloons) flying toward the airport. The airspace restrictions will remain in effect until 11:10 p.m., the statement said.
