Ukraine’s Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the development of a guided aerial bomb. It will be supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The first experimental batch has already been purchased.

“The Defence Ministry has already purchased the first experimental batch. Pilots are currently testing combat scenarios and adapting the use of the new weapon in real wartime conditions,” Fedorov said.

It was emphasised that the development is an original design created by Ukrainian engineers rather than an adapted foreign or Soviet-made product. The bomb was developed over 17 months by a participant in the Brave1 defence hub.

The bomb has a 250-kg warhead and is capable of striking targets dozens of kilometres after launch.
