Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with representatives of the Belarusian Association of Political Prisoners “DaVoli”, according to the Tsikhanouskaya Office.
The meeting focused on the challenges faced by former political prisoners and their families, as well as issues related to support, rehabilitation and the protection of the rights of people who have experienced political repression.
“It is very important for me to hear from people who have survived political repression. Their experiences and needs remain at the centre of our attention. I thank everyone for this conversation — both those who attended in person and those who joined online. I am grateful to everyone who helps former political prisoners every day and does everything possible to ensure that the support system works effectively,” Tsikhanouskaya said.
