News

Head of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has condemned the Russian missile strike on Kharkiv that killed seven civilians, including children.

“Russia continues to terrorize Ukraine and the world. Pressure on the Kremlin must increase. Ukraine’s victory is essential for peace and security in Europe,” she wrote on X.

During the night attack Russia used 29 missiles, nearly half of them ballistic, as well as 480 drones, mostly Shahed-type. Strikes targeted energy facilities in Kyiv and in the Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi regions, as well as railway infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region.

A Russian ballistic missile destroyed an entrance section of a residential building in Kharkiv. Seven people were killed and more than ten others were injured. Among the dead were a 65-year-old woman, a 40-year-old man, a 13-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy.
