Smoke was reported this morning at the Mega shopping center in Vitsyebsk on Victory Avenue. On the second floor, in the AMI-Mebel store, an electrical lamp caught fire due to a short circuit. A store employee extinguished the fire independently using a fire extinguisher.
No one was injured and evacuation was not required. Thirteen units of equipment from the Emergencies Ministry were dispatched to the scene, the agency’s press service reported.
