The Russian government has introduced a temporary ban on the export of aviation kerosene.
“A new resolution introduces a temporary ban on the export from Russia of jet fuel, including fuel purchased through exchange trading. The restriction will remain in effect through November 30, 2026, inclusive,” the Russian government’s press service said.
The measure was adopted to help ensure a reliable and uninterrupted supply of fuel to the domestic market.
The ban does not apply to fuel contained in technological tanks used by aircraft during flights, batches of aviation kerosene placed under a customs procedure before the temporary restriction entered into force, or supplies made under intergovernmental agreements.
