Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on charges of a terrorist act (Article 205, Part 2, Clauses “a” and “v” of the Russian Criminal Code) following the strike on the Minsk–Anapa bus carrying Belarusian tourists.
The Investigative Committee alleges that the attack was carried out by “Ukrainian armed formations.”
“In the afternoon of July 2, 2026, after crossing the Russian-Belarusian border, a tourist bus from the Republic of Belarus was parked near the village of Krasny Kamen in the Zlynka District of Russia’s Bryansk Region.
At that moment, the bus was attacked by an unmanned aerial vehicle, and an explosive device detonated in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle. As a result of this crime, the bus’s two drivers, both citizens of the Republic of Belarus, were injured. They received the necessary medical assistance,” the Investigative Committee said.
According to Belarusian state media, there were 19 passengers on board the bus.
All Belarusian citizens who were on the bus have been transported to the Homiel Region.
