Pole and Russian to Stand Trial Over Sanctions Evasion in Dual-Use Goods Exports

Polish prosecutors have filed an indictment against Russian and Polish citizens. Eduard K. and Krzysztof J. are accused of participating in an organized criminal group involved in the illegal trade of dual-use goods of strategic importance to national security.

In 2025, they allegedly organized the shipment of dual-use goods and industrial equipment to Russia. The goods were purchased in Germany and transported to Poland. They were then intended to be sent to Turkey, from where they were to be delivered to Russia.

In September last year, the shipment of sanctioned goods was intercepted by Polish authorities.
