Number of Employed in the Economy Increases in December

In December, 4.1642 million people were employed in Belarus’s economy. This is 10,000 more than in November. In November, employment declined by 2,400 people, while in October it increased by 5,600.

In December 2024, employment also increased, with a rise of 9,200 people. As a result, compared with December 2024, the number of people employed in the economy was higher by 34,500. Employment figures on a year-on-year basis continue to show growth.

However, compared with December 2019, the number of people employed in the economy has decreased by 170,800. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
