Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet and Head of the National Anti-Crisis Management Pavel Latushka submitted information on seven attempts to recruit members of the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement” faction in the Coordination Council and employees of the National Anti-Crisis Management to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw. The information was submitted as part of a criminal investigation launched in 2025.
Latushka also informed Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Poland’s Ministry of Interior and Administration about the incidents.
Latushka called on Belarusians who have encountered attempts by Belarusian security services to recruit them in Poland or other countries to report such incidents to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw or to prosecutors’ offices in their place of residence.
“It is important to provide this information to law enforcement agencies so they can investigate it as extraterritorial crimes that the Lukashenka regime is committing on a large scale in Poland and other European Union member states,” Latushka said.
According to human rights defenders, in recent days the Belarusian security services have been actively trying to recruit delegates of the Coordination Council. Members of the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement” faction have been contacted from multiple messenger accounts.
