There are no Polish citizens among the 22 people “pardoned” today by Alyaksandr Lukashenka, Polish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maciej Wewiór said in a comment to Polskie Radio.
“Unfortunately, no. There is no information that among these 22 individuals there was any citizen of Poland or a Pole,” Wewiór said.
Earlier today, Lukashenka signed a decree granting pardons to 22 people. Among them were 20 individuals convicted of “crimes of an extremist nature.” Those pardoned include 15 women and seven men, with 11 of them having underage children.
