Belarusian Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turchyn has signed a resolution approving the Charter of the National Tourism Agency. In accordance with the decree of Alyaksandr Lukashenka dated September 10, 2025, No. 329, “On Improving State Administration in the Field of Tourism,” the agency will come under the authority of the Belarusian government starting January 1, 2026.

The new regulator will be granted powers to carry out state regulation and implement a unified national policy in the field of tourism. Its activities will focus on economic goals: increasing the tourism sector’s contribution to economic growth, promoting investment projects, improving the quality of tourism services, and participating in public-private partnership initiatives.

In addition, the agency will have the right to engage in business activities necessary to achieve its statutory objectives and to interact with the new management structure in the tourism sector.
