In Minsk, more than 5,000 people and over 200 units of equipment and mechanized tools have been involved in snow removal and the treatment of courtyard areas with anti-icing materials, the housing and utilities services’ press office reported.
A total of 155 units of specialized equipment and 62 units of small-scale mechanization are being used, along with 1,495 workers engaged in comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of residential properties. In addition, 3,780 Minsk residents, representatives of territorial public self-governance bodies, and public organizations are taking part in clearing courtyards.
A total of 169 snow removal equipment distribution points continue to operate in the city. коммунальные services have also organized additional deliveries of shovels directly to courtyards.
Residents were reminded that, under landscaping regulations, vehicle owners are responsible for clearing snow around their personal vehicles within a radius of at least one meter.
