Minsk National Airport continues to operate as normal. This was reported by the airport’s press service. It was noted that freezing rain is falling in the airport area.
“A total of 21 units of multifunctional snow-removal equipment and special vehicles for distributing de-icing chemicals are involved in clearing and treatment operations. Over the past 24 hours, about 50 tonnes of special liquid and granular reagents have been used. Aircraft are being treated with anti-icing fluid,” the press service said.
Passengers were advised to plan their trips to the airport in advance.
It should be noted that Belavia earlier warned today about delays and rescheduling of some flights.
