The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has adopted Resolution No. 27 of April 10 “On the regulation of prices (tariffs) and indexation in the fuel and energy sector”. The document has been published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

The ministry has introduced an additional tariff group for gas consumers. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in the production of other fabrics, with consumption in the previous year ranging from 24.61 million to 600 million cubic metres, will now pay 580.26 rubles per 1,000 cubic metres of gas. Previously, the ministry had established separate tariff groups for producers of cotton and linen fabrics, as well as wool fabrics made from combed fibres. For comparison, the base gas price for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs this year is 847.09 rubles per 1,000 cubic metres.

In addition, the resolution increases tariffs by an average of 8.5% for operational dispatch control services in the electricity sector, as well as for the transmission and distribution of electricity generated by block stations.

The ministry also amended Resolution No. 47 of June 13, 2018, “On determining the procedure for indexing prices for natural gas and tariffs for electricity and heat energy”. However, these changes are classified as “for official use only”.
