On 9 December Alyaksandr Lukashenka ratified the treaty between Belarus and Russia on the formation of a unified electricity market of the “Union State”, his press service reported.
The treaty sets out the legal framework for the establishment, functioning and development of the Union State’s unified electricity market, defines the composition of its participants, their rights and obligations, and establishes the procedures governing interaction between parties in the purchase and sale of electric power.
