Visa-free entry to Belarus for citizens of 38 European countries has been extended until 31 December 2026. The decision was made today by Alyaksandr Lukashenka, his press service reported.
Citizens of 38 European states may cross Belarus’s state border through all international road and rail checkpoints using valid travel documents. The permitted stay in Belarus is up to 30 days from the date of entry, and up to 90 days for citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and holders of Latvia’s non-citizen status.
The visa-free regime may be used an unlimited number of times, but the total number of days spent in Belarus under this regime must not exceed 90 days in a calendar year.
The visa-free entry procedure via Belarusian airports also remains in effect.
Foreigners entering visa-free may transit through Belarus, including via air checkpoints, to third countries, except Russia.
This procedure does not apply to holders of diplomatic, service, special or equivalent passports. Holders of biometric diplomatic passports of EU member states may enter, exit and transit through Belarus without visas under the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the EU on the Facilitation of the Issuance of Visas.
