Khrenin and Belousov “Synchronized Watches” on Military Cooperation

Belarusian and Russian defense ministers Viktor Khrenin and Andrei Belousov held a meeting on the sidelines of the session of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS countries.

“Cooperation between Belarus and Russia is of a strategic nature, so the CIS Council of Defense Ministers meeting is another occasion to meet and synchronize watches on current areas of military cooperation,” the Belarusian ministry said.

It should be noted that from October 28 to 31, a meeting of the Belarusian-Russian intergovernmental commission on military-technical cooperation was held in Minsk. Expert-level work was carried out over several days. A plenary session is expected to take place today, after which a protocol will be signed.
