Italian Was Driving a Stolen BMW Worth More Than 200,000 Dollars Into Belarus

An Italian citizen was travelling from Poland to Belarus in an expensive BMW, but Polish border guards discovered at the frontier that the car had been reported stolen.

A 26-year-old Polish national was attempting to enter Belarus through Terespol. During the inspection, Polish border guards established that the BMW M5 had been listed as stolen in Italy. The vehicle was seized. Its value is estimated at 750,000 zlotys (206,000 dollars).

Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated, the Polish Border Guard reported.
