The Council of Ministers has set the volumes of fruit and vegetable products to be supplied from stabilisation funds for state needs by Resolution No. 210 of April 28. The document has been published on the National Legal Internet Portal and enters into force upon publication.
The total procurement volume will amount to 147.16 thousand tonnes (down 11.56 thousand tonnes compared with the 2025 state order), including 111.57 thousand tonnes (down 10.2 thousand tonnes) for retail chains and 35.59 thousand tonnes (down 2.35 thousand tonnes) for social institutions.
It is planned to procure:
- potatoes — 59.69 thousand tonnes (down 1.97 thousand tonnes), including 41.79 thousand tonnes (down 1.57 thousand tonnes) for retail chains,
- white cabbage — 22.36 thousand tonnes (down 3.9 thousand tonnes), including 17.68 thousand tonnes (down 4.17 thousand tonnes) for retail chains,
- beetroot — 9.71 thousand tonnes (down 0.1 thousand tonnes), including 6.76 thousand tonnes (up 0.29 thousand tonnes) for retail chains,
- carrots — 15.44 thousand tonnes (up 0.21 thousand tonnes), including 12.27 thousand tonnes (up 0.46 thousand tonnes) for retail chains,
- onions — 14.96 thousand tonnes (down 2.31 thousand tonnes), including 13.04 thousand tonnes (down 2.08 thousand tonnes) for retail chains,
- apples — 25 thousand tonnes (down 3.58 thousand tonnes), including 20.03 thousand tonnes (down 3.03 thousand tonnes) for retail chains.
