The Council of Ministers has approved the state program “Health of the Nation” for 2026–2030. Funding for the five-year period is planned at 98 billion rubles.
The program’s target indicators include:
Increasing life expectancy to 76.5 years.
Reducing the overall mortality rate to 11.5 per mille.
The state program consists of three subprograms:
“Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment,” aimed at introducing modern methods of prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases, ensuring access to high-quality medical care regardless of place of residence, preventing infectious diseases, and countering their spread.
“Digitalization and High-Tech Medicine,” which предусматривает the development of the functional capabilities of the centralized healthcare information system and the introduction of modern medical technologies.
“Healthcare Infrastructure,” focused on developing healthcare infrastructure and strengthening the sector’s human resources.
