Funding for the state programme “Agro-Industrial Complex of the Future” for 2026–2030 will amount to 119.04 billion roubles. A resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 814 dated 31 December approving the programme was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Of this amount, 14.08 billion roubles will be allocated from the republican budget, 14.1 billion roubles from local budgets, 67.8 billion roubles will come from bank loans, 2.17 billion roubles from loans provided by the Development Bank, and 20.9 billion roubles from enterprises’ own funds.

The state programme includes 10 sub-programmes covering crop production, livestock farming, fish farming, flood protection of land, land reclamation, development of the processing industry, mitigation of the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster, support for farming, digitalisation and sustainable development.

The programme envisages an increase in agricultural and food production. Over five years, labour productivity in agricultural organisations is planned to rise by 30%, while revenue from sales in agricultural organisations per notional hectare of farmland is expected to increase by 60%.

It is projected that by 2030 milk production will reach 10.5 million tonnes, grain production 10.045 million tonnes, rapeseed 1.2 million tonnes, sugar beet 5.4 million tonnes, potatoes 3.58 million tonnes, and vegetables 2.9 million tonnes.
