Foreign Ministry Says No Belarusians Among Those Injured In Hong Kong Fire

There are no Belarusians among those injured in the Hong Kong fire, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

“The Belarusian Consulate General is in contact with the local police. According to the latest information from the hotline service, there are no Belarusians among the injured or the dead. Monitoring of the situation continues,” the ministry said, as quoted by the agency.

A major fire broke out today in one of Hong Kong’s residential complexes. A total of 767 firefighters and 400 police officers were involved in extinguishing the blaze. According to current information, 13 people have died, including a firefighter. At least 15 more have been seriously injured.
