The Finance Ministry has revoked, from April 24, the insurance licence of SООО “Asoba”.
“The decision was taken due to the expiry of the period granted for the insurer to comply with the regulator’s requirement to ensure adherence to the established procedure for investments through the placement and allocation of insurance reserves,” the ministry said.
Asoba’s obligations under insurance contracts will be transferred to Belgosstrakh. Until the transfer is completed, the company is required to carry out all actions related to the settlement of insurance claims, including accepting claims, determining the extent of damage and making insurance payments.
