CSTO exercises will be held in Belarus in October, said Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Taalatbek Masadykov.
“A command-and-staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces, ‘Indestructible Brotherhood–2026,’ will take place on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in October this year. We will also coordinate activities in the field of preventing biological threats in order to create a reliable system for ensuring CSTO biological security. In October, a CSTO special exercise, ‘Barrier–2026,’ will again be held on the territory of Belarus, thereby continuing the practice of jointly carrying out tasks to eliminate biological threats in the interests of the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces,” he said.
Last year, Belarus also hosted CSTO exercises as part of its chairmanship of the organization.
