The Economic Court of Minsk has declared JSC Belorussky Sputnik bankrupt and opened liquidation proceedings against the company. A notice to that effect was published in the Unified State Register of Bankruptcy Information.
The court’s decision was issued on May 20. Representatives of Belorussky Sputnik did not participate in the hearing.
The bankruptcy claim was filed by the Inspectorate of the Ministry for Taxes and Duties for Minsk’s Leninsky District. Proceedings in the case began in February 2026.
The company’s outstanding debt to creditors amounts to 74,000 Belarusian rubles. Its assets were valued at 72 rubles, representing a stake in ODO Byuro.
JSC Belorussky Sputnik, which operates under the management of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM), is the successor to the Sputnik Bureau of International Youth Tourism, established in 1958.
