BYSOL Continues Fundraising Campaign for Children of Political Prisoners

The BYSOL Foundation continues its fundraising campaign for the children of political prisoners. As of June 1, €8,206 had been raised out of a target of €17,100.

This year, the foundation received applications from families of political prisoners living in Poland (29%), Belarus (23%), Lithuania (10%) and other European countries.

Each child under the age of 16 receives €100. The funds are typically used to purchase summer clothing, pay for extracurricular activities, provide psychological support and organize recreation.

As of today, 73 of the 166 children covered by the programme have already received assistance.
