The Belarusian initiative of former security officers BELPOL has published a document indicating that India purchased 100 units of Belarusian-made Mirotvorets kamikaze drones. The buyer under the contract was the Indian company SMPP AMMUNITION PVT. LTD.
“The actual volume of the delivery is around 100 unmanned aerial vehicles. Negotiations on possible supplies began in August 2025, and the contract itself was signed in October 2025. Acceptance procedures took place between Oct. 22 and Oct. 25, 2025,” BELPOL said.
The seller under the contract was the State Foreign Trade Unitary Enterprise Belspetsvneshtechnika, which is part of the structure of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus.

Earlier, the defense-focused outlet Indian Defence Research Wing (IDRW) reported that India had purchased a batch of Belarusian Berkut-BM unmanned aerial vehicles.
“The Indian Army has procured the Belarusian unmanned aerial vehicle Berkut-BM in the Mirotvorets version,” the report said.
The Berkut-BM drone was developed by the Belarusian company KB INDELA. According to its website, the Berkut-BM is described as a robotic aerial target with a wingspan of 2.8 meters, a weight of 33 kg, a turbojet engine, a parachute recovery system and a speed of up to 450 km/h.
In 2017, KB INDELA underwent reorganization and became the design bureau Unmanned Helicopters, operating under the UAVHELI brand.
The Mirotvorets modification is a kamikaze-type unmanned aircraft with a turbojet engine, a wingspan of 2.8 meters, a range of 180 km and a 10 kg warhead. Prototype units were produced in 2021. The system has since entered serial production.
A year ago, Reform.news reported that M23 rebels at Goma airport, the largest city in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, had seized a shipment of military equipment, including newly manufactured Berkut-BM UAVs packed in wooden crates.
