Ukrainian specialists have discovered a Belarusian electronic component in a new Russian cruise missile used in a strike on Kharkiv. This was reported by Vladyslav Vlasiuk, the Ukrainian president’s commissioner for sanctions policy.

According to him, the missile in question is a development with the provisional designation “Izdeliye 30,” which the Ukrainian side considers a further evolution of the Kh-101 cruise missile.

According to preliminary Ukrainian data, the new modification of the missile has received a significantly more powerful warhead. Its total mass reaches about 800 kilograms, of which at least 200 kilograms is explosive material, roughly twice as much as in previous versions.

While studying the missile’s debris, specialists also analyzed its electronic component base. According to Vlasiuk, among the identified parts were foreign microchips and electronic components produced by several manufacturers, including STMicroelectronics, u-blox, Analog Devices, Texas Instruments and the Belarusian company Integral.

In addition, within the Kometa navigation system containing 12 patch elements, specialists found microchips of American or Chinese origin. In the onboard control unit “Baget,” the Ukrainian side says there are Taiwanese memory components, a German-made connector and microchips produced in the United States.

According to Vlasiuk, all identified components have already been studied by Ukrainian specialists, and information about them has been shared with international partners. He also noted that some of the discovered elements were produced in 2023.
