Belarusbank has started issuing virtual cards of China’s UnionPay payment system to Belarusian resident individuals from June 1.
Customers can apply for UnionPay Gold and UnionPay Platinum cards. The cards are designed for secure online payments and convenient contactless transactions using smartphones or smartwatches.
The virtual cards are valid for four years and can be issued for accounts denominated in U.S. dollars, Chinese yuan, Belarusian rubles and Russian rubles.
