Belarus and the United Nations have signed a cooperation plan for 2026. Today, Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Belarus Rasul Bagirov and the heads of UN system agencies represented in Belarus (UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, WHO, UNHCR, IOM).

The plan provides for the implementation of the provisions of the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2026–2030, which was signed at the end of last year.

“The interlocutors discussed prospective areas of cooperation between Belarus and the United Nations in the context of implementing long-term national priorities, emphasising the alignment of the Cooperation Framework with Belarus’ national strategies and socio-economic development plans,” the Foreign Ministry said.
