Annual Inflation In Belarus Slows To 6.9%

The consumer price index rose by 0.3% in October, which is 0.2 percentage points less than in September. The annual inflation rate also declined last month, reaching 6.9%, down 0.2 percentage points from September.

The CPI has increased by 6.1% since the beginning of the year.

Core inflation, which excludes changes in prices for seasonal and regulated goods and services, amounted to 0.2% in October and 6.6% since the start of the year.

Prices for food products rose by 0.8% in October, while prices for non-food goods decreased by 0.1% and for services by 0.05%.

Since the beginning of the year, food prices have increased by 7.7%, non-food goods by 2.8%, and services by 7.5%.

Compared with October 2024, food prices have risen by 9.8%, non-food goods by 2.5%, and services by 7.6%.
