A drone crashed in Senna District of Vitsyebsk Region. This was reported by “Vitsebskaya Viasna”, citing local residents. According to them, the incident occurred on May 23 near the village of Yanova.
According to eyewitnesses, the drone damaged a power transmission line when it crashed. Emergency services and police arrived at the scene. The wreckage of the aircraft was reportedly removed quickly, and witnesses were warned against spreading information about the incident.
Following the incident, various versions of what had happened began circulating among local residents. Some claimed that the drone may have been carrying explosives that failed to detonate. Others said there were holes in the body of the aircraft resembling traces of gunfire.
There was also speculation that the drone could have been one of the aircraft used during the large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory on the night of May 23 and had gone off course.
No official comments from local authorities or security agencies regarding the incident have been issued so far.
