Restriction on Fuel Imports in Vehicle Tanks to Lithuania to Take Effect from May 3

A restriction on the import of fuel in vehicle tanks into Lithuania will take effect from May 3. This was announced by the Lithuanian customs authority.

Recently, the Seimas of Lithuania adopted a law extending national restrictions on citizens of Belarus and Russia until December 31, 2027. The law was amended to include a provision prohibiting the import from Belarus and Russia of more than 200 litres of fuel in vehicle tanks.

The Lithuanian customs authority warned that the restriction will take effect from May 3 and remain in force until December 31, 2027.
