The Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has published a list of events marking the sixth anniversary of the start of the mass protests that followed the falsification of the 2020 presidential election.

A number of events are scheduled for August 9:

  • Vilnius, Lithuania

1:00 p.m. — rally (Cathedral Square);

2:00 p.m. — Freedom March to the “Watch of Light” (Cathedral Square);

3:00 p.m. — minute of silence (Cathedral Square).

  • Vienna, Austria

11:30 a.m. — exhibition opening (St. Elizabeth’s Church).

  • Warsaw, Poland

6:00 p.m. — event marking the anniversary of the election (Nicolaus Copernicus Monument).

  • Toronto, Canada

9:30 a.m. — Day of Remembrance (High Park);

6:30 p.m. — Day of Remembrance.

  • Raleigh, North Carolina, United States

1:00 p.m. — performance protest (Moore Square).

  • Gdańsk, Poland

3:00 p.m. — march (Długi Targ);

4:00 p.m. — exhibition (Winter Garden, European Solidarity Centre);

5:00 p.m. — film screening (Auditorium, European Solidarity Centre).

August 15

  • Arlington Heights, Illinois, United States

1:00 p.m. — film screening (Arlington Heights Memorial Library).

The Office of Tsikhanouskaya said the list of events will be expanded. Organisers of additional events have been asked to submit details through the feedback channel or a dedicated form for inclusion in the general list.

Participants have also been urged to observe safety precautions during the events.
