The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has announced new amounts for age-related pension supplements and child benefits linked to the subsistence minimum budget indicator. The subsistence minimum will increase by 2.5% from May 1. Accordingly, the related payments will also rise.
Age-related pension supplements from May 1 will be:
- for those aged 75–79 — 95.56 roubles, and 222.97 roubles for those with a Group I disability,
- for those aged 80 and over (including a care allowance) — 191.12 roubles, and 254.82 roubles for those with a Group I disability.
The one-time benefit for the birth of a child will be:
- for the first child — 10 subsistence minimums, or 5,096.2 roubles,
- for the second and subsequent children — 14 subsistence minimums, or 7,134.68 roubles.
The benefit for women who register with healthcare providers before 12 weeks of pregnancy will amount to 509.62 roubles.
Child benefits will be as follows:
- for children aged 3 to 18 during the period of raising a child under 3 (monthly) — 50% of the subsistence minimum, or 254.81 roubles,
- benefits for children over 3 from certain categories of families предусмотренных by legislation (monthly): for children over 3 (excluding children with disabilities) — 50% of the subsistence minimum, or 254.81 roubles; for children with disabilities over 3 — 70% of the subsistence minimum, or 356.73 roubles.
The allowance for caring for a child with disabilities under 18:
- with Grade I or II loss of health until the child reaches 18, and with Grade III or IV loss of health until the child reaches 3 — 100% of the subsistence minimum, or 509.62 roubles,
- with Grade III or IV loss of health after the child reaches 3 — 120% of the subsistence minimum, or 611.54 roubles.
The monthly benefit for children under 18 infected with HIV is 70% of the subsistence minimum, or 356.73 roubles.
