A fatal traffic accident occurred on Kazintsa Street in Minsk on Thursday morning, the city traffic police reported.
A 61-year-old driver of a GAZ vehicle lost consciousness while driving and collided with a Volkswagen travelling in the same direction. The impact caused the GAZ to leave the roadway and crash into a metal barrier and a traffic light near building No. 21. The driver died at the scene. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
Traffic police officers from the Aktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs and an investigative team are working at the scene.
