A meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State is scheduled for February 25. Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin will meet in Moscow, Union State State Secretary Sergey Glazyev said.

“February 25 in Moscow,” TASS quoted him as saying in response to a question about the date of the meeting.

According to Glazyev, the agenda will include the results of implementing the main directions of the Union State Treaty, as well as the development of new union programs for 2027–2029. A decision will also be taken on cross-border movement between regions of Belarus and Russia. These issues were previously discussed at a meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers at the level of prime ministers.
