Heat and hot water are returning to homes in the Frunzensky, Moskovsky, Tsentralny, Sovetsky and Oktyabrsky districts.
“Adjustment and regulation of the temperature and hydraulic режим of the heat supply system are under way. Emergency crews continue to work at the damaged sections of the heating mains,” Minskenergo said.
Heat supply will be restored first at social facilities, including hospitals, schools and kindergartens. Inspections are being carried out in residential buildings to check pressure and heat carrier temperature, eliminate airlocks and regulate heat supply to apartments.
Emergency crews will operate around the clock until heat supply is fully restored.
The rupture of the heating main occurred earlier on Monday morning.
