Foreign Trade Deficit in Goods and Services Reaches $1.19 Billion by End of October

The National Bank has published data on foreign trade in goods and services for January–October.

Belarusian exports of goods and services increased by 1.1% to $41.835 billion. Imports rose by 2.7% to $43.03 billion. As a result, the foreign trade deficit in goods and services amounted to $1.19 billion, which is 2.4 times higher than in the same period of 2024.

Exports of goods, according to the National Bank, decreased by 2.1% to $32.55 billion, while imports increased by 1.8% to $37.02 billion. The trade deficit in goods amounted to $4.473 billion, which is 43% higher than a year earlier.

Exports of services grew by 14.1% to $9.28 billion. Imports of services increased by 9% to $6 billion. The surplus in trade in services amounted to $3.28 billion, which is 24.7% higher than last year for January–October.
