Election Commission Draws List Numbers for Coordination Council Elections

The Election Commission for the Coordination Council elections has held a draw for the electoral lists. According to the commission, the numbers were selected using AI.

The electoral lists will appear on the ballots under the following numbers:

  1. “Your Voice” — 20 people (led by Andrei Kolas);
  2. “European Choice” led by Valery Matskevich — 17 people;
  3. “Stop Being Afraid!” — 13 people (led by Tatsiana Martynava);
  4. the “Volya” movement — 28 people (led by Mikita Zabuha);
  5. “United Civic Platform” — 22 people (led by Mikalai Kazlou);
  6. “Nastup” — 13 people (led by Lizaveta Prakopchyk);
  7. “Law and Order” led by Siarhei Makar — 12 people;
  8. the bloc of Belarusian political prisoners “Belarusians of Action” — 12 people (led by Yuras Zyankovich);
  9. “Latushka Coalition and the For Freedom Movement” — 38 people (led by Pavel Latushka and Yury Hubarevich).

A total of 174 candidates are competing for 80 seats. Voting will take place on 11-17 May. The full composition of the lists can be found here.

The commission has also sent invitations to observers. Confirmations have already been received from the interparliamentary group led by Frédéric Petit, as well as Ukrainian political analyst Yevhen Magda.
