Ukrainian drones attacked warehouse facilities near St. Petersburg and Moscow overnight.
Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko said 17 drones were shot down during the attack on the region. He said damage was recorded in a warehouse area near the settlement of Krasny Bor, and one person was injured. Meanwhile, footage circulating online appears to show a major fire at a Wildberries warehouse complex in the settlement.
Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov said the most significant consequences of the drone attack were recorded in the Chekhov municipal district.
“Several fires broke out in the Novosyolki industrial zone as a result of UAV strikes. The largest occurred at a warehouse, where the open fire has already been extinguished. An electrical substation and an administrative building were also damaged,” he wrote.
According to Vorobyov, five people were killed in the attack and six others were injured.
