Dollar Exceeds 3 Rubles at BCSE

Trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on Thursday, March 19, ended with gains for the euro, US dollar, and yuan, while the Russian ruble declined.

The dollar rose by 0.79%, or 2.38 kopecks, to 3.0184 rubles. The last time it exceeded the 3-ruble mark was in October last year.

The euro increased by 0.48%, or 1.64 kopecks, to 3.4628 rubles.

The Russian ruble fell by 1.1%, or 4.02 kopecks. One hundred Russian rubles were valued at 3.6056 Belarusian rubles.

The yuan gained 0.99%, or 4.36 kopecks. Ten yuan were traded at 4.4508 rubles.

It should be noted that in recent days the Russian ruble has also weakened against the US dollar. While at the beginning of the month one US dollar was worth just over 77 Russian rubles, it has now risen to more than 83 rubles.
