Belarusian airline Belavia will resume regular flights on the Minsk–Ufa–Minsk route from June 24, the carrier’s press service said.
Ufa will become the ninth Russian city in the airline’s route network. Belavia currently operates scheduled flights to Moscow, St Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Makhachkala and Murmansk.
Flights between Minsk and Ufa had previously operated in 2021, but the programme was later suspended. The airline has now decided to restore the route five years later.
Flights will operate once a week — on Wednesdays. Departure from Minsk National Airport is scheduled for 09:30, with arrival at Ufa International Airport at 14:20 local time. The return flight from Ufa will depart at 15:20 and arrive in Minsk at 16:20.
The time difference between the two cities is two hours.
Flight duration will be around three hours. Flights will be operated using Embraer 195 aircraft.
The minimum one-way fare starts at 350 Belarusian roubles under the Light fare without checked baggage. A return ticket will cost from 656 roubles.
According to the airline, the new route is aimed at both tourists and business travellers. Ufa is considered one of Russia’s major economic centres.
