Train No. 755 from Homiel to Minsk was forced to stop in Asipovichy due to a technical fault, Belarusian Railway said.
The train departed Homiel at 4:41 a.m. and had been scheduled to arrive in Minsk at 7:53 a.m.
Passengers from the disabled train were transferred to the nearest service, Train No. 6909 from Asipovichy to Minsk. It is expected to arrive in the capital at 9:27 a.m.
“Passengers of Train No. 755 Homiel-Minsk will be reimbursed for the fare difference upon application at ticket offices, taking into account that the journey was completed on a regional economy-class service,” Belarusian Railway said.
