Belarusbank and Belagroprombank began selling bearer government bonds of the 11th and 12th issues today. They are denominated in U.S. dollars.

The face value of a security from the 11th issue is $1,000, while that of the 12th issue is $5,000.

The bonds have a two-year maturity. The interest rate is 2.7% per year.

The 11th issue amounts to $23 million, while the 12th amounts to $27 million.

Before that, the Finance Ministry had already sold two dollar-denominated government bond issues totaling $100 million. Their interest rate was 2.9% per year. In addition, $50 million worth of internet bonds for individuals were issued.
