During a visit to Białystok, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met representatives of the Tutaka Foundation to discuss the organisation’s current projects and preparations for the upcoming festival.
Discussions focused on the progress of preparations for the festival, including the programme, partners, cooperation with local authorities and organisational changes. In particular, the transition to paid entry was addressed — this year, the festival will be ticketed for the first time. Other Tutaka initiatives and the organisation’s participation in a diaspora conference were also discussed.
“The Tutaka Festival is one of the largest Belarusian events in the region. Every year it brings people together around culture, language and our community, and it is very important that this continues,” Tsikhanouskaya said.
