Share Of Belarusian Goods In Retail Trade Reaches 54.1% In First Quarter

The share of Belarusian goods in retail trade amounted to 54.1% in the first quarter. According to data from the national statistics agency, domestically produced goods worth 12.8 billion rubles were sold between January and March.

Compared with the first quarter of last year, the share of Belarusian goods increased by 0.6 percentage points. However, it was 0.3 percentage points lower than the average for 2025.

The data exclude organisations without departmental subordination with an average workforce of up to 15 employees in the previous year.

The share of Belarusian goods in the turnover of food products, beverages and tobacco reached 74.5%, with total sales of 8.54 billion rubles.

A year earlier, in the first quarter, the share of domestic goods in food turnover stood at 74.8%, while the average for last year was 75.7%.

The share of domestic goods in non-food retail turnover was 35%, with sales totalling 4.26 billion rubles.

A year earlier, in the first quarter, the share of Belarusian goods in non-food turnover was 34.8%, and the average for last year was 33.3%.
