Russia’s agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor has banned the import of six Holstein bulls from Belarus.
A vehicle transporting the animals was stopped at the Krasny Kamen checkpoint in Zlynkovsky District, Russia. Veterinary inspectors found that the sending enterprise was not included on the list of companies authorized to supply cattle. In addition, the veterinary documents were found to have been issued with violations.
The bulls were returned to Belarus.
