A critical infrastructure facility came under attack by Russia, according to Maxym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, who reported this on social media.
“A critical infrastructure facility in Lviv Region has been attacked. More detailed information will follow. Please remain in shelters until the all-clear,” Kozytskyi wrote.
Information about a series of explosions in the city was also confirmed by Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi.
“After the air raid alert was announced in Lviv, a series of explosions was heard. We are now determining what exactly happened, whether there were impacts and in which area. We are working with all services and will promptly inform about the situation in the city,” he said.
